Why should you use a PCA member specialist?

To become a member of the PCA, strict criteria must be met and adhered to throughout membership. Only full PCA members are eligible to display the logo. Members get to exclusively use the coveted PCA logo, a an indicator to consumers that they are trusted members of a longstanding Association.

Unless we pass these stringent standards laid down by the Property Care Association, we cannot by law display their logo on our website, vans or stationary.

The PCA carry out regular inspections of our business procedures and workmanship to ensure that we are providing a 1st class service to our customers. Member companies such as ourselves have to prove that we provide in-depth and accurate condition reports for customers and that we are ensuring the best working conditions for our workforce.

To find out if a contractor is a full member of the Property Care Association, go to their website for a list of all contractors. www.property-care.org.

Why do I need a PCA specialist surveyor or contractor?

The majority of mortgage companies recognise the integrity of a PCA surveyor and insist that surveys are carried out by a PCA member or contractor. Members will undertake professional trustworthy site surveys and investigations delivering peace of mind through detailed investigation and correct diagnosis.

If a PCA member does not carry out the survey, it is possible that the mortgage company will not accept the survey for mortgage purposes and this will hold up the sale of the property when a further damp inspection by a PCA member has to be arranged.

These services are provided by trained, experienced, vetted and qualified surveyors and inspectors. As we provide a professional service there is a cost involved for our inspections.

When repairs or improvements are found to be necessary, contractor members are able to complete highly specialist repairs and treatments, effective, efficiently and safely, using skilled experienced site operatives.
